Investigator - Risk Mitigation and Investigation

Xpera Risk Mitigation and Investigation is seeking a skilled SIU Investigator to join our team in the Kingston, Ontario area.
The SIU department provides investigative services, technical expertise, and is a resource for clients nationally. Our vision is of world-class performance and technical expertise dedicated to the appropriate investigation consistent with the highest standards of professional, ethical, and legal conduct.
The successful candidate will have 15+ years of investigative experience, ideally in Regulatory, Workplace Investigations, Insurance Claims, and Theft Investigations. Consideration will also be given to those with significant expertise in one line of business based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations
- Collect and analyze evidence
- Prepare and conduct recorded interviews
- Provide solid and supportable conclusions/actions
- Professionally and tactfully handle difficult conversations and confrontation
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalency in training
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new programs
- Possess a valid Ontario Private Investigators license
- Willingness to travel
- Valid Driver's license; Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
