Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Second Cook to assist our culinary team in preparing and cooking high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train junior staff members in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35 hours per week
