Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal perinatal care to women and babies.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the perinatal service.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of a post-basic obstetrical/perinatal nursing certificate/diploma.
- Two (2) years' recent related experience in a Level 2-3 Maternity Unit.
- Knowledge of fetal health assessment and breastfeeding.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
