About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at RONA Inc. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of associates to achieve sales and margin goals while driving operational efficiencies and maximizing customer satisfaction.
  • Manage all inventory, merchandising, sales, and customer service activities in departments such as Lawn and Garden, Electrical, Plumbing, Hardware, Tools, and Pro.
  • Drive execution of Installed Sales, Special Order Sales (SOS), and Pro Sales across assigned departments.
  • Identify and communicate barriers to superior service and implement solutions to improve customer experience.
  • Collaborate with peers and district manager to assess customer needs and develop strategies to achieve service, sales, and operational objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (an asset).
  • 3 years of experience leading associates in a retail environment.
  • 1 year of experience performing manager-on-duty responsibilities, including management of daily store operations and processes.
  • Knowledge of interior/exterior product categories.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
