Apptad Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our team. As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical project and user documentation, including systems and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and system documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop documentation.
- Conduct research and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Develop and implement documentation standards and best practices.
- Provide training and support to end-users on documentation and technical procedures.
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on creating high-quality documentation.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user guides, technical notes, and system documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Ability to develop and implement documentation standards and best practices.
- Experience with accessibility guidelines and standards, such as the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA).
- Knowledge of content management systems and documentation tools, such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Technical Communication Suite.
- Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
This is a hybrid position, with 3 days onsite and the remainder of the workweek remote. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a remote environment and have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
