Job Overview:
The Retail Operations Specialist collaborates closely with the Operations Supervisor to ensure optimal stockroom management and timely merchandise updates.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  1. Deliver exceptional, professional, and knowledgeable service to customers during operational hours.
  2. Support the training of fellow cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems.

Store Presentation:

  1. Assist in upholding cleanliness and organization standards within the cashier area.
  2. Stay informed about and help maintain SEPHORA's merchandising strategies.
  3. Engage in initiatives aimed at minimizing inventory loss.

Merchandising and Operations:

  1. Execute timely receipt and processing of shipments.
  2. Organize and uphold stockroom standards in alignment with company guidelines.
  3. Handle transfers, damages, and testers according to company protocols.
  4. Verify all visual components and report any missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
  5. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards consistently.
  6. Communicate any inventory concerns to Supervisors, Assistant Managers, or Store Managers.
  7. Ensure adherence to sampling policies and procedures.
  8. Participate in inventory management activities.
  9. Selected consultants will receive cross-training in cashier responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  1. 1-2 years of experience in retail or client service, ideally in a stockroom role.
  2. Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational abilities.
  3. Capacity to manage multiple tasks while remaining attentive to client and business needs.
  4. Proficient time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  5. High School diploma or equivalent.
  6. Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to work in a fragrance-rich environment.
  2. Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  3. Willingness to bend and stretch to restock shelves.
