Executive Director, Music and Arts

The Guelph Youth Music Centre is seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization in its mission to educate, enrich, and foster the development of our youth through music and the arts.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the strategic planning and implementation of our programs and services, ensuring alignment with our mission and goals.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including community partners, funders, and volunteers.
- Oversee the management of our facility and resources, ensuring efficient and effective use of our assets.
- Collaborate with our Board of Directors to identify and secure funding sources, including corporate and private sponsors, grants, and foundations.
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to promote our programs and services.
- Supervise and support a team of staff and volunteers, providing guidance and resources to ensure their success.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as music education, arts administration, or non-profit management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a non-profit or arts organization.
- Proven track record of successful program development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial management, and fundraising.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
- A competitive salary range of $60,000-$62,000.
