The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Recruiter to join our Human Resources team at Hunter Amenities International Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing top talent for manufacturing and office positions. Your expertise will help us develop effective sourcing strategies and lead the selection process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform full-cycle recruiting for all open positions, ensuring a positive candidate experience and meeting the talent needs of the business.
  • Build an applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, schools, and employment agencies.
  • Source candidates through advertisements, employee referrals, networking, and headhunting.
  • Conduct background checks as necessary.
  • Prepare and compile administrative documents required before the scheduled orientation and forward to training.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and track various recruitment metrics.
  • Manage communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the process, including offers, declinations, and status updates.
  • Monitor and maintain the Employee Referral Program.
  • Collaborate with the HR team and hiring managers to continuously improve the hiring process.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest recruiting tools, resources, and techniques.
  • Perform other office duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience recruiting within the manufacturing industry, including roles such as machine operators and skills trades positions.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools, such as CATS, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with time sensitivity.
  • Problem-solving skills and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
