The Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Recruiter to join our Human Resources team at Hunter Amenities International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates for manufacturing and office positions, working closely with management and the HR Team to develop sourcing strategies and lead the selection process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform full-cycle recruiting for all open positions, ensuring a positive candidate experience and meeting the talent needs of the business.
  2. Build an applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, schools, and/or employment agencies.
  3. Source candidates through advertisements, employee referrals, networking, and headhunting.
  4. Conduct background checks as appropriate.
  5. Prepare and compile administrative documents required before the scheduled orientation, and forward to training.
  6. Manage the applicant tracking system and track various recruitment metrics.
  7. Manage communication with candidates and hiring managers in all stages of the process, including offers, declinations, and status updates.
  8. Monitor and maintain the Employee Referral Program.
  9. Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers on constant improvement of the hiring process.
  10. Stay up to date on the latest recruiting tools, resources, and techniques.
  11. Other office duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  1. 1-3 years of hands-on experience recruiting within the manufacturing industry, including roles such as machine operators and skilled trades positions.
  2. Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or other appropriate field preferred.
  3. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  4. Experience using an applicant tracking system and other recruitment tools such as CATS, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets.
  7. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with time sensitivity.
  8. Problem-solving skills and highly organized with strong attention to detail.
