Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures, to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Laundry and Linen: Wash, dry, and fold linens, as well as restock linen closets and supply rooms.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests for extra supplies or other items, and by providing basic information on hotel facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Assist with the maintenance of housekeeping equipment and supplies, and participate in the development and implementation of housekeeping procedures and policies.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn the skills required for this role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work Conditions: Standing for extended periods, working under pressure, and working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
