About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at Petro-Canada gas station. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Logistics Activities: Work closely with other departments to coordinate logistics activities, including inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
  • Prepare and Submit Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on logistics performance, including inventory levels, transportation costs, and other key metrics.
  • Ensure Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition.
  • Manage Inventory: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked and recorded.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure that staff members are meeting performance expectations.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that logistics activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, attention to detail
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player
