About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at Bento Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new and innovative sushi dishes that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook sushi dishes to order, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise and manage the kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our food meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment
