We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Bento Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes to meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Order supplies and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- Manage kitchen operations, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food production.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Initiative, reliability, and a team player attitude.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
