Financial Services Coordinator

The Equipment Finance Associate plays a key role in mitigating credit, client, reputational, and operational risks related to leasing processes, supporting RBC Leasing products and services to business clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage leasing administration and fulfillment for leasing transactions, enhancing the client experience through effective management.
- Support revenue growth, operational effectiveness, and risk mitigation balance through efficient and effective preparation and coordination of lease documentation.
- Timely and accurate update of leasing transaction details, including supplier, banking, and equipment information.
- Produce accurate and timely contract documentation, submitting to clients for execution in line with transaction approval, policy, procedures, and PPSA laws.
- Follow up and collect documentation and information with key contract contacts, ensuring transaction completion.
- Reconcile invoices and proof of payments, ensuring alignment with contract approval and policy.
- Complete security registration in line with transaction approval, policy, and procedures, and data input into technology applications.
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve issues impeding funding, in line with policy, process, and procedural guidelines.
- Assist team members during peak periods, absences, and vacations, maintaining established client commitments, quality, and service levels.
- Identify and make recommendations to internal partners regarding leasing options and products to enhance customer experience, mitigate credit and operational risk, and expedite transaction closure.
- Timely follow up of Lease Documentation Reporting expiry and out of order reporting with clients and internal/external partners, and updates to relative technology applications.
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, serving clients with English and French-speaking needs.
- Detail-oriented and able to comprehend contract terms and conditions.
- Working knowledge of equipment financing documentation.
- Knowledge and understanding of credit policies, security documentation, and policies.
- Strong knowledge of T-Value, HP Calculator, MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Direct or indirect vendor financing/leasing experience, including skills in writing and submitting credit proposals/presentations and financial math.
- Proven networking and client acquisition skills, with the ability to foster and maintain internal and external relationships.
