Accounting Analyst Role

Spark Power, a leading provider of end-to-end electrical services, is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our Oakville team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for full cycle accounting responsibilities, including corporate and consolidation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate account balances and bank statements
  • Manage general ledger and own month-end/year-end close processes, including lease accounting
  • Lead cash flow forecasting and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • University education in Accounting
  • Working towards completion of CPA (or equivalent) accounting designation
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a bookkeeping and/or junior accountant capacity
  • Experience in Netsuite is a strong asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
