Job Summary

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled IT Technical Trainer to join our Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) Learning team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our IT technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our IT technicians, including cloud computing, datacenter operations, and IT infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training content that is relevant, engaging, and effective.
  • Use a variety of delivery methods, including presentations, discussions, labs, and simulations, to deliver training that meets the needs of our learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide feedback to ensure that training is effective and meets operational goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in cloud computing and datacenter operations, and incorporate this knowledge into training programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 2+ years of experience in IT training and development.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts, learners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 4+ years of experience in IT training and development.
  • CompTIA certifications, such as Certified Technical Trainer+ (CTT+) or Security+.
  • Azure certifications, such as Advanced Role Based or Fundamentals.
  • Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) certification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in datacenter and IT operations across various functions.
