About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Economy Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closets, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris, empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Security and Safety: Maintain basic security clearance and adhere to hotel security protocols.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and repetitive tasks. Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 32 to 44 hours per week.
