About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at Economy Inn. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Guest Services: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Pick up debris, empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, clean changing rooms and showers.
Requirements
  • Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
  • Experience: Will train, permanent position, 32 to 44 hours per week, English language.
