In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining BRP's strong financial standing by staying abreast of evolving tax legislation and proactively identifying opportunities for optimization.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Managing the complete tax compliance process for designated entities.
- Identifying potential tax risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Preparing and presenting clear explanations of tax accounting results for specific entities.
- Leading tax audits and ensuring a smooth resolution process.
- Continuously evaluating existing processes and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Building strong relationships with legal, treasury, and business unit stakeholders, providing ongoing support and guidance.
The ideal candidate possesses:
- A recognized professional accounting designation.
- A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills.
- Proven ability to provide sound advice to both internal and external parties.
- Significant experience in tax compliance within a corporate environment.
