About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer Decals Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing safety, compliance, and aesthetic warning decals for all BRP products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Decal Development: Actively participate in the development of decal solutions for all products and projects, ensuring compliance with various authorities' standards and regulations.
  2. Material Selection: Develop decals according to multiple criteria, including materials, adhesives, thicknesses, and lamination of materials, shapes, and textures of receiving surfaces.
  3. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with various authorities' standards and regulations, including certifications and safety warnings.
  4. Performance Criteria and Validation: Develop performance criteria, establish validation plans, and ensure their execution.
  5. Process Improvement: Improve existing tools, methods, and procedures, and standardize decals from one product to another.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Support and interact with colleagues, suppliers, engineering teams, design, purchasing, certification, and vehicle safety teams, production, marketing, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and workshops.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: General knowledge of materials (steel, aluminum, plastics, paints), project management skills, good communication skills, team spirit and leadership skills, autonomy, and ability to navigate in a constantly changing environment.
  3. Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
  4. Software Proficiency: Knowledge of the Office Suite.
