Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Freight Forwarding Logistician to manage and streamline our logistics operations at International Fastline Forwarding Inc. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient coordination of shipping activities and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination: Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed reports on logistics activities.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs.
  • Warehouse Management: Organize and oversee warehouse and work areas.
  • Project Management: Lead projects related to logistics and shipping.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Work Assignment: Co-ordinate, assign, and review tasks among team members.
  • Communication: Liaise with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Dispatching: Schedule and dispatch personnel according to operational needs.
  • Issue Resolution: Follow up on any issues related to work orders.
  • Shipment Tracking: Monitor and keep track of shipments throughout the logistics process.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures for efficient operations.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and MS Office.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure with a keen attention to detail.

Experience Requirements

Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or a related field. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week.
