Key Responsibilities
- Utilize your expertise to offer personalized advice and solutions that cater to our customers' specific needs, becoming their go-to insurance advisor.
- Meet ambitious personal and team sales objectives, demonstrating your capability to exceed expectations.
- Efficiently manage documentation for prospective clients, ensuring accurate completion and submission of insurance applications and certificates.
- Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with key underwriters, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Address client concerns or complaints with professionalism and product knowledge, ensuring swift resolutions.
- Master the use of Applied Rating Services or Company Portals to provide clients with accurate quotes.
- Represent HUB at industry events, showcasing our commitment to excellence.
- Stay informed about industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and operational processes to enhance your expertise.
- Participate actively in training initiatives, contributing to our collective growth and development.
Qualifications for Success
- A valid RIBO License (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) in good standing is preferred; additional provincial licenses are a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry or personal lines is essential.
- Familiarity with major domestic personal lines markets such as Aviva, Intact, and Economical is highly desirable.
- Proven sales ability with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Strong professional presentation skills and a deep understanding of the personal insurance sector in a sales-oriented context.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in broker management systems like EPIC & ARS is advantageous.
- Quick to learn and adapt to the HUB business model and value proposition.
- A collaborative team player, comfortable working both in-person and remotely.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Possession of a professional insurance designation such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM is a valuable asset.
