Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Maple Ridge Carpet One Center 2014 Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, preparing accurate flooring plans and schedules.
  • Measure, cut, and install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors with precision and attention to detail.
  • Prepare floors for installations, removing existing floor coverings and contaminants as needed.
  • Install carpeting on walls or other surfaces, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installations.
Installation Specialization
  • Vinyl or resilient tiles
  • Hardwood strip flooring
  • Hardwood intricate patterns flooring
  • Carpets/rugs
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically demanding work environment, requiring the ability to handle heavy loads.
