Investment Reporting Accountant

About the Role
We're a leader in the investment management industry, with a growing team of in-house experts who manage over $30 billion in assets for institutional investors. As an Accounting Specialist, Investment Reporting, you'll play a critical role in supporting our investment teams by delivering external and internal financial information related to investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial close processes, including system feeds, key internal controls, and validation of end results in a timely manner and with the highest level of quality.
- Participate in the production of external financial information related to investments, including financial statements, management reports, and Canadian regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Continuously improve accounting and internal control processes through automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
What You'll Bring
- CPA designation or successfully passed the CFE.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience or experience in an audit firm.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Independent and efficient, team player.
- Interested in and curious about investments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
