Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Planta Queen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our guests.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing menus that showcase our culinary expertise
  • Leading a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
  • Managing kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and food safety
  • Collaborating with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes
  • Ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
Responsibilities:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Estimating food costs and inventory levels
  • Supervising kitchen staff and providing guidance and training as needed
  • Developing and implementing new recipes and menu items
  • Ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order
  • Managing kitchen waste and reducing food waste
Requirements:

To be successful as an Executive Chef at Planta Queen, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Proven track record of menu development and implementation
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
