Digital Design Researcher

CB Canada is seeking a skilled Digital Design Researcher to join our team. As a Digital Design Researcher, you will be responsible for designing research strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting designers and business stakeholders in prioritizing potential research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop research fieldwork approaches to address business and design objectives
  • Research and testing, including execution, synthesis, and analysis
  • Communicate core themes and implications from research activities to the design team and other stakeholders
  • Design and facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities
Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in research
  • Technical understanding of design research theory and design research tools
  • Working knowledge of various design research methodologies
Preferred Skills:
  • Appreciation for the potential of 'design thinking'
  • Experience working within a large organization and within an agile environment
  • Experience contributing to the launch of a digital product
