Your primary responsibility will be to safeguard the company's resources, clientele, and workforce against theft, fraud, vandalism, and misconduct. Key Duties
- Supervises and evaluates team performance while actively participating in security operations
- Manages training, coaching, human resources, safety, and recruitment for the team
- Observes floor activity: identifies suspicious behavior, communicates with management and surveillance
- Delivers exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, addressing inquiries, and providing solutions
- Escorts individuals within the premises and parking areas; may administer first aid; conducts interviews and investigations; prepares reports
- Adheres to all relevant laws, policies, and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and safety in work areas, ensuring they are free of hazards and debris
- Executes all responsibilities in a safe and accountable manner
- Follows departmental quality standards
- Performs additional related and compatible tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security and relevant training is highly advantageous
- A minimum of one year of experience in a related field
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Demonstrated high level of customer service
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills
- Completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training/exam prior to start (employer will sponsor) OR valid BC Security License and completion of Gaming Security Officer (GSO) training/exam within 90 days of start in B.C.
- Completion of Serving It Right prior to start date (in BC)
