Job Title: Electrical Engineering Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Technologist to join our team at EMEC Design Group LTD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the building and testing of prototypes to ensure they meet electrical and electronic standards.
  • Assist in design, development, and testing of electrical and electronic systems, including preparing estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components to ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Conduct or supervise the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems.
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in electrical engineering technology.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English as the primary language of work.
