Assistant Store Manager Job Description

At Warehouse One, we're seeking an experienced retail leader to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store team, you'll play a vital role in driving sales performance, delivering outstanding customer service, and coaching your team to success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model outstanding customer service and take ownership of sales performance and operations
  • Coach team members to be their best and create a positive work environment
  • Manage store operations, including assigning and following up on tasks, performing store opening and closing duties, and scheduling for the store
  • Ensure the store looks great for our customers by participating in store housekeeping and visual displays
Requirements:
  • Experience in retail leadership and sales-driven environments
  • Strong customer service and coaching skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder, and move and handle boxes of merchandise (weighing up to 30 pounds) and fixtures throughout the store
  • Flexible availability, able to work a minimum of 32 hours per week including day, evening, and weekend shifts
