Senior Institutional Research and Planning Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Research and Planning Lead to join our team at Thompson Rivers University. This is a key leadership role that will provide strategic direction and oversight for our research and planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Provide direct supervision and guidance to a team of research analysts and associates.
- Participate in hiring committees and provide feedback on performance.
- Develop and implement research projects to inform strategic decision-making.
- Design and conduct research studies to analyze data and identify trends.
- Prepare and present research findings to stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of research projects.
- Assign and monitor workloads, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify research needs and priorities.
- Develop and maintain complex databases and data systems.
- Design and implement data visualization tools and reports.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as research methods, statistics, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in research and planning, including 4 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of stakeholders.
