Guest Experience Supervisor

Civic Hotel, Autograph Collection, is a bold landmark that merges BC's artistry, culture, and flavours with the spirit of entrepreneurial discovery. As a Guest Experience Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and supervise daily operations at the Front Desk, ensuring a high level of service.
  • Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring guest needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure pre-arrival requirements are met.
  • Work in conjunction with hotel security officers to respond to disturbances and ensure overall safety and security.
  • Oversee all areas of the hotel operation in the absence of senior management.

Requirements

A degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or Hospitality is preferred, with a minimum 2 years of previous supervisory or management capacity in the Front Office division of a boutique or luxury hotel setting.

Preferred Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Front Office policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office and Google applications.
  • Proficiency in Opera is an asset.
