Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Magna Exteriors. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the robustness of our manufacturing processes and leading production improvement projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical expertise to troubleshoot current production issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Developing and maintaining standardized work instructions and procedures for the extrusion process.
- Assisting in training production personnel on new or existing tooling, equipment, and processes.
- Supporting new product launches, engineering changes, and product/process continuous improvement initiatives.
- Completing APQP-related activities, ECR processes, and Quality Management System requirements.
- Conducting time studies, identifying capacity constraints, and opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Developing and maintaining documentation for PFMEA, Operator Instructions, Rework, Change-over procedure, and instruction.
Requirements include:
- Proficiency in hands-on process troubleshooting.
- A Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Degree/Diploma, or applicable trade.
- Professional experience with specialized knowledge and know-how.
- Ability to work independently and draw from experience in all aspects of the job assigned.
