Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead and Manage Technology Initiatives

Lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, ranging from £3-7m, across different domains and platforms.

Establish and Maintain Stakeholder Relationships

Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and ensure that the initiatives deliver value and meet their expectations.

Define and Implement Delivery Strategy

Define and implement the delivery strategy, approach, and plan, and ensure that initiatives follow best practices and standards.

Manage Scope, Schedule, Budget, Quality, Resources, Communication, and Risks

Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, and proactively resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.

Coordinate and Collaborate with Delivery Teams

Coordinate and collaborate with delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers, and ensure that dependencies, interdependencies, and integration points are identified and managed.

Drive Adoption of Agile and Lean Methodologies

Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques, and foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the delivery teams and the wider technology function.

Requirements

  1. Proven Track Record of Delivering Complex Technology Initiatives

Ideally 5+ years experience and proven track record of delivering complex and high-value technology initiatives across different domains and common enterprise-scale technology platforms e.g Mulesoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Azure.

Experience of Delivery in Large Complex Organisations

Experience of delivery in large complex organisations, such as FTSE 250 companies or top-tier professional services.

Strong Knowledge and Understanding of Technology Landscape

Strong knowledge and understanding of the technology landscape, trends, and best practices.

Excellent Stakeholder Management and Communication Skills

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.

Knowledge of Programme Organisation Structures

Knowledge of programme organisation structures and proven ability to build teams who are set up for success.
