Position: Part-Time Nutrition Specialist

Organization: CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal

CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal is a prominent organization recognized for its commitment to urban health and social innovation. They are currently seeking a part-time Nutrition Specialist to work within their residential care settings. This role entails evaluating the dietary needs of residents, executing nutritional intervention plans, and providing educational support to clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nutritional assessments for residents in various facilities
  • Assist colleagues in residential care environments as required
  • Design and facilitate training sessions to enhance team knowledge on nutrition

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
  • Active membership in the Ordre professionnel des diététistes du Québec
  • At least 2 years of experience in long-term care settings
  • Experience working with elderly and dependent populations

Additional Information:

Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide a Comparative Evaluation of Studies conducted outside of Quebec. This evaluation should be included in the application materials. Only candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted.
