We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist to join our team at the Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB). The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients' nutritional status and developing personalized intervention strategies to promote optimal health and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive nutrition care and support
- Conduct nutritional assessments and develop treatment plans to address patients' specific needs
- Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
- Participate in clinical teaching and training programs to enhance the skills of healthcare professionals
- Support the development and implementation of nutrition-related policies and programs
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
- Registration with the Ordre des diététistes nutritionnistes du Québec
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical nutrition setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluency in English; fluency in Cree or French is an asset
