About the RoleAs a Senior Manager at KPMG Canada, you will be responsible for leading our assurance and tax teams, providing expert guidance and support to clients, and driving business growth through innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions to address their challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage assurance and tax engagements, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Provide expert guidance and support to clients on accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and drive business outcomes.
- Canadian CPA designation.
- 7+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
- Previous experience advising clients on day-to-day tax matters.
- Previous experience with Reviews and Compilation Engagements.
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities is derived from your dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service.
- Strong team player and have meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional accounting firm experience is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
- Strong mentoring and performance management skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, to ensure communication with internal and external stakeholders.
