Senior Manager, Enterprise Leader

KPMG Canada is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to join our dynamic team in Ville-Saint-Laurent. As a key member of our assurance team, you will be responsible for leading client engagements and ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage various client assurance and tax engagements, including reviews and compilations.
- Manage engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality statements and other deliverables.
- Counsel, train, and mentor assurance staff to ensure their growth and development.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to resolve complex issues and provide tailored solutions.
- Apply KPMG's assurance and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.
- Canadian CPA designation.
- 7+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
- Previous experience advising clients on day-to-day tax matters.
- Previous experience with reviews and compilation engagements.
- Excellent client service skills, with an ability to understand clients' businesses and develop strong relationships.
- Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail.
- Professional accounting firm experience is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and demonstrate strong leadership qualities.
- Strong mentoring and performance management skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, to ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
