Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Design Architect to provide leadership in project management, design, and business development. As a project leader, you will foster a collaborative team environment and promote an integrated approach to delivering successful projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design leadership to produce creative, functional, and innovative designs for commercial and industrial clients from concept to close-out.
- Manage projects throughout design, including leading and preparing design and contract documents, facilitating document coordination, ensuring quality review, providing construction review, and administering contracts.
- Develop and promote design excellence standards, and maintain technical quality standards.
- Advocate for collaboration and integrated design, and develop and maintain client relationships.
- Support the construction administration team, and work on multiple projects in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Requirements
- University degree in architecture, plus four years of architectural experience working with commercial and industrial clients.
- Registered architect with the relevant professional body.
- Demonstrated experience with project leadership and managing complex projects, including knowledge of building systems and construction detailing.
- Strong drawing and visual/graphic communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Adobe Suite, and visualization software.
- Understanding of local building codes and regulations, and ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment.
