Job Overview

Oversee comprehensive management for initiatives, modifications, and strategic endeavors from inception to completion. Ensure compliance with project management methodologies while delivering the scope within the designated timeline and budget, guaranteeing that all quality benchmarks are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Direct projects with a standard duration of 6 months, engaging multi-disciplinary teams across the organization. Responsible for delivering projects within scope, on schedule, and within budget while adhering to the established quality standards. Conduct daily monitoring and regulation of project activities utilizing baseline plans; any deviations from the plan will be documented, communicated, and escalated as necessary. Accountable for all project documentation including; project timelines, requirements specifications, operational work packages, project logs, and detailed execution plans. Expected to represent Veridos Canada Ltd. professionally during client interactions and collaborate closely with Sales Executives on client relations. Maintain a communication strategy to effectively facilitate team meetings, convey progress, status updates, risks, and foster a sense of urgency to address any challenges. Assist with feasibility assessments, certification procedures, project evaluations, and the creation of statements of work. Coordinate intricate technical and operational details among clients, vendors, and internal operational and financial teams. Lead internal and external steering committee meetings with clients and senior management. Oversee the coordination of comprehensive testing activities among multi-disciplinary teams. Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, typically between 4 to 5 ongoing projects.

Additional Responsibilities

Collect business requirements for projects with minimal technological modifications. Support process enhancements, documentation of current processes, and workflows. Manage disaster recovery efforts and other project management-related tasks assigned by the direct supervisor. Adhere to Veridos Environmental, Health & Safety Policies & Procedures and report any Environmental, Health & Safety hazards, incidents, and concerns to the immediate supervisor/manager. Management will ensure employees receive job-specific Environmental, Health & Safety information and training and also ensure compliance with workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Experience, and Educational Background

Professional Experience:

At least 5 years of project management experience with demonstrated success. Familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and possess a solid understanding of SAP Systems.

Skills and Competencies:

Analytical and detail-oriented with strong planning and problem-solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills and proven capability to effectively collaborate with and lead teams. High sense of urgency balanced with thoughtful analysis and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities. Proficient in conceptualizing, analyzing, and implementing efficient workflows. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present at all organizational levels. Effective and persuasive communication abilities. Technical knowledge of statement printing and secured card manufacturing processes. Exceptional time management and multitasking capabilities. Disciplined approach to reporting, metrics, and performance management.

Educational Background:

A degree from a University or College in a relevant field. Preference will be given to candidates with a focus in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.

Work Environment

Office environment May require support outside of standard business hours and weekends during project implementation phases Some travel may be necessary ( - %) within Canada and internationally
