About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to join our Deposit Operations team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to the Manager, Deposit Operations and assist with the day-to-day management of the administrative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administration and Management (30%): Assist the Manager with monitoring productivity for volume and client turnaround time, ensuring an outstanding level of customer service.
  • Customer Service and Quality Assurance (30%): Demonstrate a strong commitment to outstanding Customer Service levels, with an awareness of timelines and process commitments being met.
  • Reporting and Reconciliation (20%): Assist with the preparation of yearend tax filings and submission to CRA, and share responsibility for the daily reconciliation of various recs or suspense accounts.
  • Compliance & Audit Support (15%): Assist in ensuring all work processed complies with established policy and procedures, including AML (PCMLTFA), CDIC, Privacy and pension and registered plan regulations.
  • Technical (5%): Participate and support testing for internal banking system upgrades/releases.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Deposit Industry
  • Post-secondary education
  • Strong leadership and commitment to outstanding Customer Service
  • Sound knowledge on the deposit services industry, our internal banking platforms and other transactional systems.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations affecting the business such as but not limited to Privacy (PIPEDA), Deposit Type Instruments Regulations (DTIR), CDIC, CRA reporting, FCAC complaint handling, pension and registered plan regulations and Legislative compliance.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Word & Excel)
  • Proven ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and to perform well in a high volume, high intensity environment.
