Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to join our team at Marksmen Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Supervise and train construction staff, including apprentices and tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations to support our diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Recruit and onboard newcomers and refugees who have been displaced by conflict or natural disaster.
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against visible minorities and promote diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
