About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic HR team at Trotman Auto Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the full-cycle recruitment and onboarding process, HRIS administration, and providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment initiatives by preparing job postings and prescreening candidates
  • Schedule interviews for candidates and hiring managers
  • Conduct reference checks and initiate criminal history checks
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience end-to-end with timely, personable communication
  • Provide support, as needed, for career fairs and recruitment events
  • Maintain positive candidate experience throughout the entire onboarding process
  • Extract and utilize data on effectiveness of current employee programs as well as completing survey submissions to support best practices
  • Assist the People & Culture department in various functions, including but not limited to administrative duties and internal recruitment activities
  • Assist with People & Culture initiatives and projects as requested
  • Remains up-to-date with current industry trends

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of previous Human Resources experience
  • Human Resource post secondary education required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizing skills
  • Tech Savvy and proficiency with MS Office suit
  • A desire to exceed customer's expectations
  • Experience on working in a fast-paced environment
