Job Title: Senior Vendor Manager

Amazon Canada's Home Entertainment team within the Entertainment Media org is seeking a self-driven Vendor Manager candidate to support our team and vendor partners. Vendor managers work directly with vendors to improve value, selection, and convenience across their business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a brand/vendor on Amazon.ca and drive growth of the business
  • Inventory management, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca
  • Conceive, create, and analyze a wide range of marketing campaigns to drive vendor growth, brand awareness, customer conversion, and topline revenue on Amazon.ca
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience
  • 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
  • Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with pricing and selection strategy
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
About the Role:

This role provides the candidate an opportunity to execute analytical deep dives that help inform category growth strategies and initiatives. In addition to gaining vendor management experience, this candidate will have exposure in driving category growth.
