About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Vendor Management to join our team at the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP). As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the management of critical vendor relationships to ensure that third-party services align with our strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage critical vendor relations to ensure third-party services meet our strategic business goals.
  • Foster lasting partnerships with vendors on behalf of IT.
  • Facilitate and coordinate vendor operations reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive touch points.
  • Track vendor meeting actions to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Lead high-value procurement engagements with critical technology partners.
  • Perform vendor risk assessments for new vendors and inform key stakeholders of any associated risks.
  • Ensure annual risk reviews are conducted for critical vendors.
  • Lead IT stakeholders to ensure service value, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical vendor services.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management or technology licensing for a financial institution or technology firm.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience liaising with different lines of business and IT (at all levels, including executives).
  • Highly skilled in relationship management, written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledgeable on key enterprise technology services (Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, SAP, CISCO).
  • Strong understanding of current technology landscape, including cloud, software, and key industry trends and standards.
  • Knowledgeable in common IT product licensing and compliance management.
