Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Personal Insurance Broker to join our team in the Central ON region on a Permanent (Full-Time) basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business by selling policies to both existing and new clients while retaining your current book of business
  • Conduct outbound calls and send introductory letters to quote new business, as well as assist walk-in clients
  • Engage with Underwriters and Adjusters to clarify guidelines and policies
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes, and review renewals
  • Stay updated on underwriting regulations and workflow processes
  • Actively participate in training programs
  • Engage in community marketing initiatives
  • Handle Account Receivable tasks
  • Provide support and guidance as needed

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education is required
  • Relevant experience in sales and customer service
  • Ability and motivation to generate your own sales leads
  • Strong customer-centric approach
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • RIBO license is an asset
