Role Overview
- Engage in selling new insurance policies and writing new business for both existing and new clients while retaining your current book of business.
- Generate quotes for new business through proactive outreach, introductory communications, and welcoming walk-in clients.
- Collaborate with Underwriters and Adjusters to clarify guidelines and policies.
- Prepare necessary documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes, and review renewals.
- Stay informed about underwriting regulations and workflow processes.
- Actively participate in training and development initiatives.
- Engage in community marketing efforts.
- Handle Account Receivable tasks as needed.
- Provide support and guidance as requested.
Qualifications for Success
- Post-secondary education is required.
- Experience in sales and customer service is essential.
- A proactive approach to generating sales leads is highly valued.
- A strong focus on customer satisfaction is a must.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- RIBO license is considered an asset.
