Job Overview

JYSK Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in instilling our company values and customer promises within your team and in the store.

The Role

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the store management team in implementing sales and merchandising plans, promoting a highly engaged team culture, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist with loss prevention processes, including participation in prevention strategies and investigations.
  2. Assist with store stock management, merchandising, and pricing to maximize sales of your categories.
  3. Deliver and meet sales budgets and goals in your Department.

Requirements

  1. A dynamic and positive personality with strong leadership skills.
  2. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities change.
  3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
  4. 2 years of experience in retail management and customer service.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
