Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at GENERAL FREIGHT. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public, and obtain and process information required to provide customer service.
  • Switchboard Operations: Operate the switchboard or telephone system to answer and relay telephone calls and messages.
  • Administrative Support: Perform clerical duties such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail, as well as maintaining work records and logs.
  • Financial Transactions: Receive and issue payments, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, and arrange teleconferences as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
