Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Smitty's Restaurant and Lounge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparers and counter attendants.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Operations and Management
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Establish work schedules and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
- Education and Experience
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Suitability
- Client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility.
- Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment.
