Escape Fire Protection is a leading fire sprinkler contracting company offering a range of services, including installations, inspections, testing, and design engineering. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, we have established ourselves as a trusted provider of fire protection solutions for residential, commercial, institutional, and tenant improvement projects.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our project management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, and delivering high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire protection, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the company in client meetings and develop project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Proactively communicate project status, issues, and financial status with the team.
- Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts for fire stopping, heat trace/insulation, and coring.
- Coordinate with designers to ensure systems are designed to meet contract needs and building code requirements.
- Track and participate in drawing submissions and permit applications.
- Oversee project compliance with specifications, local codes, and installation techniques.
- Assist in the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials, including specialty materials.
- Coordinate with shop leads to prepare fabrication sheets.
- Review and interpret contract terms and conditions.
- Complete project billings in a timely and accurate format.
- Coordinate testing and ensure closeout documents are obtained.
- Schedule municipal and engineering inspections and ensure inspection cards are filed appropriately.
- Update and store project information on the company's internal network.
- Ensure company safety policies are enforced and documented.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- 5+ years of project management experience in the fire protection industry.
- In-depth knowledge of B.C.B.C, V.B.B.L, NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, and 10.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management and familiarity with industry concepts, terminology, requirements, best practices, and procedures.
- Comfortable using various computer programs and software, including Click-Up, Excel, Word, Teams, and Zoom.
